Masters (Botany)

Pratik Sharma is a 22-year-old permanent resident of Mangal Puri Gram, Victoria Road, Darjeeling. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Botany from St. Joseph's College, Darjeeling, and is currently pursuing his Master's in Botany at Darjeeling Government College. Pratik has a deep love for traveling to places surrounded by nature and has channeled his entrepreneurial spirit into an online sticker store, allowing him to support himself financially without depending on his parents.

During his academic journey, Pratik was an active member of the nature club and completed his tenure in the NCC, where he represented the West Bengal and Sikkim Directorate in the AITSC 2022. He has also participated in numerous marathons at the college, school, and open levels. Currently, Pratik is preparing for the Combined Defence Services exam with the goal of joining the armed forces.

Pratik joined the Trailblazer Fellowship with the intention of contributing to causes he is passionate about. One of his primary goals is to help students in the hills who are in classes 11 and 12 find the right career options after high school, ensuring they have access to a wider range of opportunities and are not limited by a lack of resources. He is also deeply concerned about climate change and believes that addressing this issue at the individual level is crucial for creating meaningful change.

Throughout the 10-month fellowship, Pratik is eager to open himself up to personal growth, work as part of a team, share his knowledge, and learn as much as possible along the way. His thirst for growth and learning is unending, and he looks forward to the journey ahead.
