About us

Eastern Himalayan Foundation (EHF) is an early-stage social impact start-up based out of Darjeeling. Our objective is to help young people chart novel pathways in career and higher education, be better equipped to take care of themselves and be socially engaged by identifying and addressing local problems.

We are supported by Azim Premji Foundation and were incubated within IIMB’s NSRCEL Impact Orbit Program.

We are a small and ambitious team that wants to break not just the opportunity gap for young people in the hills but also the circumstances that led to the gap.

We are looking for team members who will add to the energy and commitment of the team and leverage their experience and skills to scale EHF’s impact to 10K young people in the 2 districts of Darjeeling and Kalimpong  in the next 2 years (2024-2026).
