Pushpum travels an hour to College everyday (half way on foot) as her village is quite far. 

 

After her part time work in a govt.primary school for 3 months, she realised that the quality of education provided to children is very poor. She wants to work for the development of her local govt. school, both in terms of quality education and good infrastructure. 

 

She is also keen to raise awareness about child abuse. 

 

She wants to study further if she is able to acquire financial support. 

She wants to become a teacher. 

 

Through the Fellowship she wants to be stronger personally and professionally. She hopes that the Fellowship will provide opportunities to help young children and girls.
