Rakschanda Gurung is a 20-year-old resident of Ganesh Gram, Darjeeling, currently pursuing her undergraduate degree at Southfield College Darjeeling, where she is majoring in Geography Honours (V semester). Her studies have deepened her knowledge in her areas of interest, particularly disaster management and urban planning.

Beyond academics, Rakschanda is actively involved in social services, having served as the vice-president of the Rotaract Club of Southfield College Darjeeling. She is also passionate about baking and music, which she finds therapeutic.

Rakschanda joined the Trailblazer Fellowship with the hope of gaining invaluable hands-on experiences and connecting with like-minded peers who share her interests. She is eager to work on projects aimed at societal betterment, guided by leading experts. Additionally, she looks forward to contributing to these projects while learning from the diverse perspectives and experiences of others.
