The Challenge:
Early marriage can affect young people's education and future opportunities, while community reluctance makes discussion difficult.
What we did:
Conducted surveys and interviews with students, parents and community members, and organised an awareness programme at Kagay School.
Results & Achievements:
The school programme engaged students in discussion; surveys and interviews informed the project's understanding of local perceptions.
What We Learned:
Many community members were initially hesitant to discuss early marriage openly.
