The Challenge:

Limited awareness of schemes and rights can hinder villagers' participation in addressing local concerns.

What we did:

Researched PMGSY and rural development schemes; conducted three informal and two formal awareness sessions; distributed pamphlets and questionnaires; completed a baseline assessment; visited the Gram Panchayat three times.

Results & Achievements:

Five sessions recorded over 40 participant-attendances. Interactions included the local Sabhasad and Panchayat officials.

What We Learned:

The work strengthened the fellow's understanding of government schemes and local administrative processes.

Next Steps:

Continue awareness work and encourage villagers to raise concerns collectively and follow up with relevant authorities.
