Priyasha Lama

Continued her community initiative beyond the fellowship and secured admission to IIM Bodh Gaya as a first-generation learner.
One of the most inspiring stories from the Trailblazer Fellowship is that of Priyasha Lama, a BBA student from a local college in Darjeeling. Priyasha joined the fellowship as a young student who was curious about the issues around her community but unsure of how to create meaningful change. Through the fellowship journey, she developed stronger leadership, problem-solving, and community engagement skills. And she successfully secured admission into the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bodh Gaya, a significant achievement for a first-generation learner from her community.
After the formal completion of the fellowship, both Priyasha and Xaireeka(her project partner))have continued running the initiative independently, demonstrating long-term ownership and commitment beyond program timelines. The continuation of the project reflects how the fellowship has nurtured not just short-term participation, but long-term civic responsibility and leadership among fellows.
