Xaireeka Rai is a third-year student pursuing a bachelor's degree in Microbiology at St. Joseph College in Darjeeling. Born and raised in Darjeeling, she currently resides in Singamari, Darjeeling.

 

With a keen academic interest in molecular biology and genetics, Xaireeka aspires to build a career as a researcher, intending to pursue her research studies at Kyoto University.

 

She is motivated to join the Trailblazer Fellowship because she believes it will offer her the necessary exposure to broaden her range of experiences. Xaireeka is confident that the fellowship will serve as a stepping stone toward her future aspirations, equipping her with the skills and confidence needed to take on projects and further develop her abilities. She feels that this opportunity will help nurture her skills while also addressing areas where she needs improvement.
