Karan Thakur

Karan Thakur is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in English (Honours) from Jorebunglow Degree College. Known for his curiosity and dedication, he is deeply interested in social work and community development. His engagement with the Eastern Himalayan Foundation has given him valuable exposure to initiatives that promote education, social awareness, and youth empowerment across the region. 

Through his academic journey, Karan continues to build strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills—qualities that complement his commitment to making a difference in society. He enjoys reading and writing, often using these as tools to reflect on ideas, express creativity, and explore different perspectives. Karan believes that learning extends beyond the classroom and that meaningful change begins with small, consistent efforts. 

He hopes to channel his knowledge and experiences toward contributing positively to his community, inspiring others to take part in shaping a more informed and compassionate society.
