Mickila Bhutia

Mickila Bhutia is a third-semester History Honours student at Kalimpong College, affiliated with the University of North Bengal. A thoughtful and reflective individual, she draws inspiration from observing the subtle details of people, places, and stories that often go unnoticed. Her passion for history stems from a desire to connect the past with the present and to understand how culture and community shape life in the Eastern Himalayas. Known for her compassion and creativity, Mickila seeks to combine imagination with responsibility in all her endeavors. 

Through the Trailblazer Fellowship, she aims to strengthen her leadership, critical thinking, and community engagement skills. She hopes to translate her curiosity and ideas into meaningful actions that contribute not only to her personal growth but also to the well-being and development of her community.
